I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. I work with individual adults and couples. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington in 2000. I have been a therapist in the Seattle area for 9 years.
My background is in mental health services, hospice, cancer care, and mind body medicine. My Mind Body Therapy training includes Clinical Skills in Mind Body Medicine, at the Mind/Body Medical Institute at Harvard Medical School, and Mind-Body Medicine: The Professional Training Program, through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Mind body techniques are a part of my personal self-care plan that includes meditation, tai chi, mindfulness, and guided imagery.
I continue to pursue my own professional development so that I can provide the highest level of service to my clients. I am currently receiving training in the area of Interpersonal Neurobiology.
I am a member of the Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work, the Oncology Social Work Network, and the National Association of Social Workers.
